DataGun is a product of WeBuild Databases Inc. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the DataGun mobile application.
What We Collect
Account informationĀ ā name, email address, company name, and role when you register.
Document dataĀ ā images of freight documents (Bills of Lading, Air Waybills) that you capture using the app, along with extracted data fields such as BOL numbers, shipper/consignee names, product descriptions, quantities, and hazmat classifications.
Usage dataĀ ā number of captures, document history, and app activity associated with your account.
How We Use Your Information

- ā¢ To deliver extracted data to your designated recipients via email, CSV export, or webhook
- ā¢ To maintain your document history and account records
- ā¢ To improve extraction accuracy and app performance
- ā¢ To communicate service updates and account notifications
Freight Document Data
DataGun processes freight documents that may contain commercially sensitive information including shipment details, customer names, product specifications, and hazmat classifications. This data is:
- ā¢ Stored securely in encrypted cloud databases
- ā¢ Accessible only to authorized users within your company account
- ā¢ Never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes
- ā¢ Transmitted only to destinations you explicitly configure (email recipients, webhook URLs, TMS integrations)
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- ā¢ Service providers ā cloud infrastructure (Railway, Supabase), AI processing (Anthropic), and email delivery necessary to operate the app
- ā¢ Your configured integrations ā email recipients, TMS webhooks, and export destinations you set up
- ā¢ Legal requirements ā if required by law or to protect rights and safety
