DataGun Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 7, 2026 Last Updated: July 27, 2026
DataGun is a product of WeBuild Databases Inc. (“WeBuild Databases,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DataGun mobile application and related web application (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
What We Collect
Account information — name, email address, company name, and role when you register.
Document data — images of freight documents (Bills of Lading, Air Waybills) that you capture or upload using the Service, along with extracted data fields such as BOL numbers, shipper/consignee names, product descriptions, quantities, and hazmat classifications.
Usage data — number of captures, document history, and app activity associated with your account.
Diagnostic data — error and crash logs from the app and our servers, which may include your account identifier and technical details about the failure, used to fix problems with the Service.
Messages you send us — in-app contact form submissions and upgrade requests, which are stored so we can respond to them.

- • To deliver extracted data to your designated recipients via email or CSV export

Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

- • Your configured recipients — email recipients and export destinations you set up
- • Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect rights and safety
Data Retention
Document images and extracted data are retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, data is deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. We do not store payment card information.
